Spector or eBlaster?
Which is right for me, or both ?

eBlaster is similar to Spector, but quite different in other respects.

eBlaster is great for those who want to know what is going on without having physical access to the PC being monitored.

It is not a substitute for Spector if you like the detail that Spector screenshots provide.

While eBlaster can send a snapshot, a snapshot once every 30 minutes is not going to tell you as much.


BUT, eBlaster does provide
all URLs visited,
applications launched,
and the Keystroke recording is actually better in
eBlaster than it is in Spector.

eBlaster stores the information recorded long enough to send it out to your e-mail address.

Conclusion:

Basically, if you have easy access on a regular basis you would probably prefer Spector because of the constant snapshot feature.

If access to the computer you are monitoring  is limited than Eblaster is the way to go.

However, many people use both programs together as they compliment each other nicely.
